Is it that they don't have a backbone or is there more to it than meets the eye? Sometimes things look weird to people on the outside but to the people on the inside there is a system that makes sense to them and it's in their best interest to do what they do; even if it doesn't look like it makes sense to us. We don't have all the information. This is how the media uses slight of hand to make us believe nonsense even when we know better.

I think we can know better just by what we ask for in society what is popular and what is not getting done. The fact is is there a very popular policies that have historically not been able to get done. That's not because of we don't have the information. It's because Congress does not want to reenact them. Even though the politically popular. The system of Congress is completely broken. From elections to campaign finance. To the lack of term limits. To lobbyist and super packs. Saying we don't have all the information I think it's giving them a free pass or at least padding it so they can get a pass.
